Printing

Printing is a process of reproducing text and images onto paper or other materials using a printing press or a digital printer. It has revolutionized the way information is shared and preserved throughout history. The invention of movable type printing in the 15th century by Johannes Gutenberg marked the beginning of the printing revolution, making books and other printed materials more accessible to people. Today, printing technology has advanced significantly, allowing for high-speed printing of large volumes of materials with high-quality graphics and color.

Cotton Print

Procian Print

The use of Procian dyestuffs represents a relatively simple method of producing bright shades processing excellent washing and light fastness properties on all major cellulosic and related fibres, e.g. Cotton, Linen and Viscose, both by dyeing and printing application techniques. Due to the simple application methods, Procian dyes are eminently suitable for use in school, occupational therapy and household crafts, whilst giving serviceable and brightly coloured fabrics or designs.

Pigment Print

A photographic or photomechanical print in which the image is formed by a pigment rather than silver or a dye.
Pigments are colors which do not dissolve and penetrate into the fibres. They have not to be applied together with a film forming binder. More than 50% of all printing colors are pigment types. It represents an alternative to direct printing. In this system there is no need to carry out a steaming process, as steaming is replaced by polymerization (generally carried out simultaneously with drying).

Discharge Print

Dischargeprinting is a method where the pattern is produced by the chemical destructionof the original dye in the printed areas. The discharging agents used can beoxidizing or reducing agents, acids, alkalis and various salts. But, mostimportant methods of discharging are based sulphoxylates formaldehyde &Thiourea dioxide.
Recently, the environmental and industrial safety conditions increased the potential foruse of enzymes in textile processing to ensure eco-friendly production. InDischarge printing, Sulphoxylate Formaldehyde (NaHS02.CH2o.2H20) is one of thepowerful discharging agent used commercially.

Pigment Discharge Print

Discharge printing is a screen printing process where the same techniques and equipment are used but instead of normal ink, discharge inks are used, which remove the shirt’s dye instead of putting a color on top of the shirt. It is somewhat similar to bleaching in a design, except it doesn’t damage the fibers like bleaching would. It results in an extremely soft print, and shows the weave of the shirt. It can be used by itself, as an underbase for other colors to be put on top, or with pigments added.
Pigmenting discharge can be difficult to achieve exact color results, as the discharge efficacy affects the color, and what you see is not what you get when mixing the pigments, but it can still be a great way to achieve colors on dark garments.

Procian Discharge Print

Procian dyes are suitable for printing on cotton, linen and viscose rayon. They have excellent colour fastness, provided they are set using soda ash. The results are less vibrant when used on silk fabric and we recommend you use Acid dyes. In this style, reactive dye discharges the dye from the dyed fabric according to the specific design to create a printing effect on the fabric, which is done by using a reducing agent. Some Procian dyes can be discharged to create a white (white discharge) printing effect.

Brasso Print

Brasso is generally made out of an acid etch process which involves the burning of fabric in order to create a more textured design. This technique can be applied to all kinds of soft fabrics. Brasso Fabric is very light weight and extremely comfortable fabric. Its making involves the burning of fabric to create a more textured design. The making of brasso fabric also involves an acid itch process.

Hosiery Print

Hosiery printing is a process of printing designs on hosiery or socks using specialized printing equipment. This printing method allows for the creation of detailed and vibrant designs on hosiery, adding a unique touch to socks and other legwear.

Flock Print

Flock printing is a technique that involves applying small fibers, called flock, onto a surface to create a textured design. The flock fibers are applied using a special adhesive, resulting in a raised and velvety texture that adds dimension and interest to the printed design.
